Weather Conditions
Maui’s weather is ever changing and very unpredictable, especially during our Winter & Spring Season.
How do we manage to work around that?
We rely on sailing charts to pinpoint optimal conditions each day. Unlike standard weather apps that err on the side of caution, often forecasting a week of consistent conditions for a single area, we closely monitor Maui's microclimates. This allows us to identify the best locations on the island for capturing stunning photos.
At times, we might suggest meeting in an area with favorable weather or rescheduling for the next available slot when conditions are more promising.
Forecasts tend to be most reliable within a 48-hour window. Should the weather not align with expectations, we'll promptly communicate any changes
Our Policy.
Maui’s weather is constantly changing and with that said, weather is the most difficult and uncontrollable variable for us to work with. If your shoot has to be canceled due to inclement weather conditions, rescheduling is penalty free and subject to availability. If another time slot is not available during your travel dates the weather delay becomes a cancellation.
Weather cancellations are made as joint decisions between the client and Pine & Palm Productions. We do our absolute best to be flexible and adaptable to any and all situations. Complete cancellations due to weather are EXTREMELY rare.
